Easy walk to the (mostly tacky) downtown, and the rooms are big and the air conditioning worked. But everything was just a little tired and battered, and the breakfast room is dark and dingy. Grumpy receptionist on arrival was replaced by far friendlier staff. Maybe it has been a long night.
