LOVE this place because there was hardly anyone there. When we checked in, the staff kept saying how busy they were so I was thinking "oh my word, I'm going to be surrounded by people all over the beach". I was hoping it would be deserted and it was. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves 75% of... More

From the desk of the General Manager Good Afternoon, Thank you for your comments. I have often viewed such comments in a constructive manner knowing that friends share with us our shortcomings while others usually do not say anything other than to never return for another visit. Being a small resort, we attempt to take a personal approach in providing... More

From as young as I can remember my family and I visited Palm Island almost every year for Spring Break, Thanksgiving, and any other holiday/school break that was long enough for a decent stay. We were fortunate enough to own one of the Lands End cottages (the first #28 from the mid '80s to late '90s, and the second #35... More

I have been here more than 5 times. We really love it for it's peacefulness. The condos are nice - some furniture is a little worn, but the beach is definitely worth turning a blind eye to that. We always have a few visitors that join us for part of the trip. It's a make your own fun kind of... More

Been here twice and was blown away both times. These are privately owned condos so do your homework as some are nicer than others but if your looking for a quite unknown vacation on a beach where you may be the only people on the pristine beach watching beautiful sunsets with your spouse, this is definately the place! If you... More

Some friends of ours found a deal on LivingSocial and got an amazing deal. We stayed in the marina rooms and ours was very nice and updated. No problems with bugs or dirty dishes. Dinner at Leverock's was really good. All of the food was very good. Lunch at Rum Bay was good also. We were able to use the... More

We are staying for 2 nights using a deal I found on living social. We are staying in a mainland villa. The villa could use some paint and touching up and if we come back I will request a different villa. Frig is rusted, Tiny ants on bathroom and kitchen counters. Check in went well and when calling the resort... More

Wanted a couple days to just relax...found a great Living Social special and decided to explore someplace new: This is a nice resort, small marina condos on the mainland and a larger condo resort on the island...condos were nice, but showing age (narrow stairs, some kind of dirt/oil on and inside the front door, yellowing on the bathroom lights, normal... Spent a wonderful getaway vacation. Off season so there were no crowds, no rushing, no worries. Villa was exceptionally clean although slightly dated. Grounds were immaculate and the beach....oh my....it was wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rum bay restaurant was above average but not really impressed with Leverocks. Took the kyaks out, biked the island and walked the beach.... More
