We have stayed at El Governor twice. Both times we checked in for one night only decided we "had" to stay another night. The rooms are all beachside, clean, have a balcony, and kitchenette. The motel is quiet and the staff is quite friendly. Keep your door open and listen to the waves all night long. We love it! More

We stayed with family at the RV park that El Governor Park has. From the RV park to the pool, everything is so very clean!!! My family and I stayed in Mexico Beach for one night for a quick get away. We stayed in the annex building of the El Governor the hotel was average. The sandy beach and the wonderful atmosphere was to die for. They have a Tiki bar with great drinks at really good prices. A gift shop and a pool. More
