Stayed for 10 days. Looks like they were updating the furniture. Only 2 small drawers in the dresser. The "hi-peed" Internet was anything but, wired or wireless. Spent a lot of time working on my laptop and this was an issue. Also, after sitting at the desk for a half hour or so my shoulders and neck were getting very...

Room was dated and a bit smelly.
Outside door...loud...but, I always have a sound machine with a "white sound", so It didn't bother me.
The location though was good and price was inexpensive.
Hamptons nationwide usually have a higher standard.
In all fairness to them though...this was obviously a "take over" of an old strip hotel. Not built as a...

I stayed here for one night in September 2011. I found the inn completely satisfactory and can make no criticism. I had a ground-floor room on the highway side of the hotel (unusually for a Hampton Inn it was a "drive-up" room) and although passing traffic was quite heavy the room was well insulated and I did not hear the...

The smell was TERRIBLE when we walked into the room. It smelled like a cat had urinated on the carpet or something. We had a non-smoking room, but the smell going to the room from smoke was very strong.
Once inside, the bathroom door would not close and the sink would not drain. We left to find another hotel for...

We booked this hotel for two nights while we were up visiting on son. First, the staff was probably the only good thing about this hotel.
When we first got to our room and opened the door it had a very strong smell. At first I thought it was the cleaning porducts that housekeeping may have used, but as time...

The hotel is on highway 98 about 4 miles west of Ft walton in a small residental area but very close to restaurants and shopping. Like the majority of hotels in FWB and DESTIN the Hampton Inn fronts the highway so ask for a room at the back of the hotel ( you won't hear road noise) if traffic noise...

As the title of my review states, this hotel is literally a "Motel 8" with a Hampton Inn label slapped on it. I have been to numerous Hampton Inn's on business and this was by far the most disappointed I have been. My room (as most rooms are) was facing the road and you can hear the traffic well. The...

A very nice and easygoing hotel, good quality for the money, close to beaches, without being on the beach..
Perfect if you want to stay out of the crowds and explore the area.
Very nice staff and a good breakfast.

The front desk staff was very good. The room had a funny smell and was definately and older property. The hi speed internet was free and fast. I would make sure that you book a room on the side of the hotel that is not on the very busy road.
I grabbed a breakfast to go, which was good, so...
