First time I stayed here the tub had mold and other issues the cleaning staff overlooked while cleaning. Second time was from June 12-16 and our last. Terrible paper products!!!! VERY THIN SCRATCHY TOILET PAPER!.Facial tissue thin and scratchy also.Toilets that don't flush. This is a nice reasonably clean hotel located in a good area just off of I4. The property is back far enough away from the highway that there were no issues with highway noise. “nice new mid level property; but a bit overpriced”

First time I've stayed at HI express. This was a relatively new property. The rooms are comfortable; staff is very courteous; nearby restaurants. The rate $129 with AAA discount, however, is a bit overpriced. Based on my extensive travel experience, $89-99 would be more in line with similar hotels and amenities.

“Hotel on the Interstate”

Nice new property. The only problem was the the fridge door cover door seemed to be poorly designed and fell off. Even when repaired the door was difficult to open. Otherwise everything was great. The hotel is very convenient for attending the nearby Detroit Tiger Spring Training games. There is a restaurant in walking distance.
