Matanzas is a find, and being beside the harbour you are only a few steps to reasonably priced very tasty sea food. There were no parking problems and if you did not want to use the pool, it is just a short walk to the beach. The rooms were very clean, cheerfully decorated and reasonably priced. We found the Matanzas Inn to be a very pleasant surprise. The rooms are very cheerful, well outfitted, and tastefully decorated. The associated restaurant had excellent food, great waterfront setting, and friendly staff. I would recommend staying there and considering buying one of the units while the price is still low. More
