We enjoyed our stay at the Beach Street Cottages last week, but I was very surprised at the amount of noise. Noise from the outside, but even worse was noise from the upstairs unit. I thought at first it was just noisy people... but when the first party checked out and a second party moved in the next day, they... More

We were well surprised with this unit. We stayed in 2a, it was so close to the beach. It was clean and decorated in beach decor. It was cute. My only complaint is the noise from the above unit. We could hear footsteps and water running through the pipes. I still liked it. More

Beach Street cottages is a relaxing getaway in our favorite area of the USA (Beautiful Gulf Coast). Right across the street from the beach, lots of good restaurants in walking distance (Kenny's D's=great oysters) More

This was a great place to stay for a beach vacation. We had a one bedroom deluxe which was clean and very comfortable. Right across the street from the beach...so convenient! If ocean view and large pool are important to you though, this is NOT the location for you. The location was very quiet and tranquil. However, we were on... More

We have gone to Destin over the past 5 years for our family vacation. We had always stayed at one of the large resorts but they were booked for our trip last year. We stayed at the cottages and will never go back to the large resort again. The cottages are clean and have everything you need. We only had... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Beachstreet Cottages for a week in October of 2007. My family has a timeshare there so we were there on the "points"system. We were on the top floor at the very back of the cottage "village" and that was probably a blessing as anything else would have been very close to the pool... More

Very quaint quiet resort. Showing its age. I would not want to stay on the bottom part of a unit. The noise would make for a terrible trip. Needs some updating. Pool area is really close. You have no privacy at all. This place is certainly not for everyone. Just okay. Is all I can say. Not sure I would... More

It wasn't our first choice, but after our stay it will be on the top of our list from now on. The cottages are great, the staff where very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in making our stay first class. We really enjoyed the activities that where planned, and that quiet get away feeling that we got from sitting by our patio... The place is beautiful. The cottages are close together but no one was too loud or intruding. The bushes, flowers and trees were bloomed out when we were there. It is very well maintained and employees are friendly. Other's have said the beach was like a private beach and they are right. Hardly no one on the beach and pool... More

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend with our son when he was only a few months old. We thought it was quite nice. From the outside, the cottages reminded me of Key West. They were small, but clean and comfotable. The bathroom was big. The beach is right across the street/over the boardwalk. Since the cottages... More
