Older building but wonerful time. Not over priced. Front desk attendants were very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Alexis and also to the second shift. My sister and I went to turn on Tv and it didnt work. As soon as we went to front desk she had someone get us a tv ASAP. We really enjoyed our stay and... More

We got a real good price on an excellent room. It was a corner room with three views of the ocean and beach. More

Winged it to Daytona Beach without a reservation booked. Stayed at the Mayan Inn on the beach. Economy hotel at best. Walk-up rates were fairly high with little but some flexibility. Oceanview room was of good size, relatively clean but smelled of cleaning fluids. (Maid stated they deep cleaned the entire 5th floor the day before....it smelled like it) Hallways... More

The room for the price is accommodating and I can't complain. Its really cheap to stay here. Outside pool bar has a great bartender and on weekends overlooks a happening next door beach bar/restaurant. However, if you stay on the south side you will hear the music until 300am. I left one afternoon for 2 hrs and my laptop was... More

Balconies on the 8th and 7th floors are not usable. There are bird droppings all over everything. My husband slid on the balcony. It was gross. We asked to have our room moved, they did not care said they clean the balcony everyday. I know this is not true. They never even cleaned our room the first day. I would... More

Jprairie, Thank you for your decision to stay at the Mayan Inn, I am dissapointed that your stay was less than satisfactory. We unfortunately are very popular with the local bird community, and work very hard to eliminate the evidence of their presence. I booked this two night stay via Travelocity. I searched Expedia as well but what a bargain Travelocity had for this property, $46.93 per night plus tax. Expedia was $10 more. I stayed two nights prepaying via Travelocity $105.00 inclusive. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. My room was on the sixth floor over looking the ocean to the South... More

We came here and stayed for three days. The first night we were sitting in the room chatting and the roaches started coming out of everywhere. Day two they were out during the day. I came here for the NCA nationals competition. I was here for 5 days, they did not bring towels, nobody was ever around to help. The bed spreads looked like they had never been washed.
