Okay, the Terrace Inn's *not* the Ritz. It was probably once a Howard Johnson's many decades ago... and the furnishings and the linens aren't the newest things in the world. But it was clean, had a pleasant restaurant/neighborhood bar right next door, was convenient to MetroRail, Sunset Place mall and to the University of Miami, and - most of all... More

My travel plans were fluid, so it was not practical for me to make a reservation in the Coral Gables area for that night. Stayed at the Terrace Inn in Feb for 2 nights. Very well located for access to Miami and South Beach. The Metrorail is a 5-minute walk to the University stop ($1.25 exact change).
