I'm a local I live in cocoa beach and I have to say I am ashamed to have this type of place in my community. I invited my family up to cocoa beach because I don't get to leave the area often due to my work schedule so I searched for a small family owned type of place for my... More

Thank you the laugh. As you said we are a small place…..QUIET, PEACEFUL. You aren’t going to rent 2 rooms and bring over a dozen people here to have a party. No matter who you are. We have other guest to think about. If you want to take up the hole place then rent ALL the rooms and have the... More

The employee/owner was friendly enough but the room was SMELLY and dirty complete with stained sheets which was a little scary even for the discount price of $80/night. I tried it because other reviews called it kitschy those were true but left off the dirty factor - ugh!

As a local I recently stopped in at the Dolphin Inn to inquire about a room. I had my three young children with me. The office reeked of cigarette smoke so I waited outside, already having a feeling this was not the place a family. My kids were touching some shells near some plants. The woman came out and snapped... More

We loved this place. If you're looking for a place that isn't chainy, has a lot of "character", and you've ever lived in an OLD beach apartment, you will probably dig it. The owners have very eclectic taste... The courtyard and the rooms reflect this. From Key West to Japan to England to Atlantis... Mermaids, The Beatles, frogs, you name... More

Stunning location (dolphins in the morning, birds, etc), free kayacs, beach right across the street, picturesque lady of the house. The yard is a collection of kitch memorabilia and the rooms are the same to say the least. Dark, smelly, old and strangely decorated. There are only 2 ways about them: you either have a good laugh and get inside... More

The location of this little hideaway is great. One the hotel side you have the Banana River complete with dolphin swimming by and on the other side of the street is the ocean! The hotel itself is in need of a face lift and a good cleaning. Our room was not clean and smelled of smoke. Infact when I mentioned... More

Let me start off with, if you want ritzy, stay at the Ritz not here. With that said.... If you want down home, comfy, not stuffy accomodations, this is the place for you. Hubby and I stayed here the night before our cruise out of Port Canaveral. The grounds are like a back yard you wish you had. BBQ (wish... More

We stayed in Dolphin Inn for 4 days. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was a tv, microwave, toaster, fridge and coffee maker as well as stuff you will find in home kitchen (some plates, glasses etc.). Owners are really nice and helpful. Each day we had a breakfast on a patio just by the Banana River. There is... More
