This hotel is in the middle of the large University of Connecticut, Storrs campus. It's comfortable and the food is excellent. The rooms are a good size, clean and well serviced. More

I have to agree with the other reviewers... this hotel is dated and is absolutely nothing special. The heating/cooling system in the room was loud and noisy. The room was sparsely decorated. Unfortunately, it is a seller's market... if you need to stay near UConn, this is it. We ate at the bar near the lounge area and it was,... More

Thanks for your review for the Nathan Hale Inn on the University of Connecticut campus. We appreciate your comments about the pleasant front desk staff. Every guestroom now has LG HDTV's in addition to our complimentary high speed wireless internet. New lobby carpet looks beautiful and new bedding/pillows will be on site soon. We have a great new fine art... More

This hotel is beyond awful. Now it's deceiving, because on the drive up to it the building seems modern and decent. Inside, it's stuck in 1989....a quick Google check shows it was renovated in 2001, but it doesn't seem like it was enough...I'd hate to see what it was prior to 2001. I find the rooms to be old, stuffy,... More

Thank you for your response! We appreciate the feedback and have shared the information with the staff. We have recently installed LG HDTV's in every guestroom and the have been well received. Also the hotel painted the Jacuzzi and pool to complement new equipment in our fitness room. The lobby has new carpet and the hotel entrance has been upgraded... More

I had business with UCONN and decided to stay at the Nathan Hale Inn for a couple nights. The Inn is located right on campus right next the Alumni residence halls and the South campus dining hall. Every part of my trip went smoothly. I arrived around 2PM and was happy to learn my room was ready early. Unlike other... More

I just got back from a stay at this property. I was at UConn for a conference and this hotel happens to be the only one on campus. This hotel would hardly convert to a Best Western. It offers the basics, no frills, and is OK for a business traveler. It seems the hotel knows that the people who stay... More

This hotel is in need of serious updating, noise-proofing, and a good chef. The rooms are ordinary chain hotel rooms priced higher than most. The restaurant is a sad, lonely, and empty place on weekday nights. The sports bar/cafe has an enticing menu that doesn't translate into enticing food --and you have to down it with no less than three... More

We stayed overnight during our annual trip to UCONN for Huskython. Positives: location is great. It's a brief walk to the Student Union, Gambel, and the Coop. The rooms were extremely clean and fresh smelling. Negative: once again, we were placed near a room with many teens in them. We had to open the door and ask the girls running... More

Thank you for your recent trip and we appreciate your repeat stays! Our pool is now re-opened after receiving a paint job; our ten year anniversary was up and it needed a new Ralph Lauren look! I stayed here with a tree crew from NC, cleaning up after the snow caused all the power outages. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly, nothing really to complain about. More

We stayed this past weekend, Freshman move in day. This was our third time staying with the property. It's located on the campus of UCONN. The property location is great, but their house keeping can use some work. Towels in bathroom had hair all over them and the bathroom was not all that clean. Service was very slow in the... More

Thank you for your report, fall move in is always a very busy time. We share all comments with staff to focus our efforts! The hurricane Irene weekend made things very hectic as preparations were being made and schedule adjustments were needed. Please consider another stay in the future to enjoy the conveneince of being directly on campus! Thank you... More
