Worst motel I've ever stayed at! No outdoor lighting in parking lot- safety concern. Room smelled moldy/musty. Rug was unvacuumed along walls. Dirt clogging AC/Heater vent. Great stopover on a college trip - good location to see URI, Conn College, etc. Clean, quiet, friendly, comfortable! Easy access on/off I-95, 2 double beds in rooms, fruit and coffee available in the morning - overall a very good value!

If going to Foxwoods from the Boston Providence area the Stardust is a great find just off 95. It is an older motel with new ownership that obviously takes pride in their product. Rooms have been renovated and include a microwave and mini fridge. A good find for the cost conscious. 

When New Years Eve rates near the casinos go through the roof, you have to do a little searching to find an acceptable place to sleep within driving distance to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
