Sadly only stayed for one night but what a great boutique hotel. Once inside, the level of decor is stunning, with the most wonderful art deco features within the host of lounges. The rooms are outstanding with strategically placed night lights built into the suites lighting system and the biggest shower room I have ever used. There is a small... More

We were here for 2 nights in January on a private tour along the Garden Route. Though not overly impressive from the outside - large metal gate and a quiet courtyard/parking area - once you get inside it is stunning. Beautiful Art Deco, think Agatha Christie and Poirot with glamour, and a huge bedroom suite with great bathroom and a... More

Classy accommodation with really stunning rooms and friendly and efficient staff. Small hotel but nothing is too much trouble. Quiet and relaxing and undoubtedly one of the best in PE. Definitely a reason to visit PE again. Close to Boardwalk and beaches are in walking distance. A Gem.

My husband and I stayed here on our last night of our South Africa holiday. What a treat! Tho hotel is abolutely stunning. It is quite small with only a few suites total. The entire place, including the structure itself, is Art Deco at its best! Exqusitely decorated with authentic pieces and suprub art. It was pure "eye candy" everywhere... More

I stayed here with my husband for one night before heading off to Shamwari Game Reserve. For some reason it is now called Number 5 Boutique Art Hotel - no matter the name - it is stunning. Our suite was large and had every confort, including our own garden. The bathroon was well equipped and had a wonderful shower. I... More

This hotel allows the imagination to run wild. The works of art boast some of Africa's most valuable and alluring images. The entire hotel from the front desk to the furthest corner of your bath room have been thought through for an enjoyable and ergonomic sense of relaxation. The feeling that you could never afford to own such a property... More

Just a holding night, in effect, before heading up to the Shamwari Game Reserve on the following day. Very comfortable modern room, nice location 2 minutes from the sea. Only downside, no evening restaurant service that night (a Saturday night) and we'd arrived too late to want to risk a trip out into town. Breakfast made up for it next... More
