This is pure New England. No opulence or grandeur. However, It's clean and a quiet resting place in the CT. mountains where the food in the restaurant, given the remoteness, is excellent. It is worth a long weekend to get some relaxation. The staff was very friendly and makes you feel at home. Overall a good value.

I spend a night at the hopkins inn to break up the trip. between northern vermont and my home in brooklyn. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable; a perfect place to get a good night's rest before completing my trip home.

The owners of this establishment need to decide whether they want the Inn to be a catering hall or Hotel(Inn) as the two uses are not compatible.
