If you're visiting someone at Yale, this is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are small but well maintained and nicely furnished. You get the true feeling of academia. When you go, be sure to have breakfast in the restaurant and order the blueberry pancakes-they are fantastic!! Lots of good restaurants within walking distance right on the edge of... More

This is a great hotel right in the middle of Yale's campus, so exceptionally convenient for all main departments, the library, and shops. It is classy, beautifully decorated in a sort of minimalist style, and very comfortable. The views from the upper rooms are also great. Rooms are not huge, but they're adequate. The bar and the restaurant are excellent:... More

I stayed here with my daughter who is going to be a grad student at Yale. We loved the hotel. It reminded me of a W -- fun "school" theme, minimalist rooms with nice big windows, comfortable beds and friendly, helpful desk staff. The location is perfect. Restaurants and theater are virtually right outside the door of the restaurant. The... More

Stayed here in February. I have to agree with most of the other comments – the room is modern, well appointed. The hotel has a great location for visiting Yale, near the art museums. Had to walk home from an evening event in the dark and it was an easy walk. What I would say were the negatives for me... More

This hotel was very comfortable--relaxing, modern decor, a huge window with good blackout curtains, reliable internet, and a great location for visiting campus. The bath products smelled really good. The only con was that I had to leave the hotel for a reasonably priced breakfast, but there are several coffee shops nearby. More

Situated in the heart of Yale, a recently built, modern design, with great staff - definitely would recommend. The service is very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable with large windows, comfortable beds, night-clocks with iPod docks, and all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. I was there for a conference, and all I kind think... More

Directly across from Yale School of Art and a block form Yale museums on a well trafficked street, this hotel was totally renovated in 2008, erasing decades of decay and some of its less wonderful 60's features. It is "boutique style" (business centre is a computer in the corner of the lobby), but staff were very helpful with fax, etc.... More

Is this really such a fantastic boutique-y gem of an upscale, personalized service, understated, European elegance, charming, simple but swanky, friendly tho' formal, little hotel find in the middle of New Haven or was I just predisposed to like it (and everything else in NH for those 3 Bulldog Days) because my kid got in to Yale? Well, to be... More

The location of this boutique hotel in proximity to Yale was the reason that I stayed here. However the modern rooms with comfortable beds and Frette linens are the reason that I will return. The staff were helpful with directions and information about Yale. I agree that the air conditioning unit did make some loud noises at night so we... More

I came to New Haven to attend a conference at Yale. The Study at Yale was one of the recommended hotels. This hotel did not disappoint! When reserving my room, I requested a campus view. I was told that many people request this view and that there are no guarantees. I was very happy to discover I had indeed received... More
