Finding somewhere in Mystic was something of a challengw within the parameters that we set for ourself, but we were very pleased with the Pequot. Nancy and Jim were incredibly friendly and very interested in their guests. They were kind enough to make dinner recommendations and subsequent reservations. On the food theme breakfast, especially the pancakes, were an absolute delight.... More

We had a great stay at Pequot Hotel B&B. Nancy and Jim had excellent breakfasts, heart waffles and fruit. Great New England decorations. They also gave great suggestions on where to eat and what to see/do. We stayed in the suite and loved it! Comfortable beds, good shower, and nice view of the road. We ate at Captain Daniel Parker... Two colleagues and I stumbled upon Mystic and more importantly on the Pequot via the web and our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Nancy and Jim were fantastic hosts (thanks again Jim for the awesome pancakes); the rooms were quaint, yet perfect; the location is ideal (we never experienced any of the noise reported by other reviewers);... The Pequot Hotel restored our confidence in B & Bs. Our last experience in Nova Scotia wasn't so good. We didn't meet Jim, but Nancy is an exceptional hostess. The Inn is very comfortable and well decorated. We stayed in the Carey room for two nights. We had only planned on one but chose to add another. There was some... More

We couldn't believe our good fortune in finding a B & B that was a stage coach in on the first American road in the country, the Old Post Road between Boston & NY. One wing built in the 1700's with an 1840's addition. We stayed in rooms used by the old coaching inn. Historic plumbing, sloping floors, blacksmith hewn... More

This place is adorable and completely worth the five minute drive to not pay $160 for The Holiday Inn Express. Nancy & Jim are so lovely and it was great to have breakfast with the other guests. We missed breakfast our next two mornings because breakfast is at 9:00 and we don't like to be stirring around that early whilst... More

Yes, we usually offer breakfast at 9:00, but we work hard to satisfy the needs of our guests. We are happy to offer breakfast at earlier or later hours depending on the desires of our guests. I am sorry that we missed on this one. More

Nancy and Jim offer warm hospitality, great conversations, and useful travel advice. They've done a remarkable job of renovating and restoring the character of this 1840 property. Don't get me wrong, we did have a nice time here, but there are some things that should be mentioned that we disliked about the property. First, we had the Carey Room with... More

My husband and I went to visit my old college stomping grounds for the weekend and decided to stay at the Pequot Hotel B&B. That weekend, we were the only people staying at the inn and Nancy and Jim couldn't have been more accommodating! The rooms were impeccably clean and beautiful. We really felt like we stepped back in time,... More

We chose the Pequot based on other reviews from this website. Being quite choosy, I was perfectly pleased with all ammenities and surroundings at this bed and breakfast. Jim and Nancy are super friendly people who make their guests feel right at home. The building has been beautifully restored, most furnishings while antique, are very comfortable. My husband and I... Nancy and Jim are great Innkeepers. Our room had a working fireplace, and the house is a restored 1840 home. They spent 12 years rebuilding the house themselves, and you can really tell they did a great job. Besides the bathrooms, the entire house was restored to original form. Of course, it has all the modern features that one is... More
