We stayed at the Copper Beech a couple of years ago for our anniversary. We were hoping for a special weekend away. Our room was small and not clean. The carpet had many stains on it and really needed a thorough cleaning. At breakfast they were out of English Muffins so could not do the Eggs Benedict that we ordered.... More

My husband and I rented the Copper Beech Suite in the Main House for a weekend getaway. This is supposed to be their best suite, and we were splurging because we wanted a special weekend. We were very disappointed. The pictures on the website make the room look stunning, and when we got there the room was nice, but a... More

Attended a party there recently. Everything was top notch. I didn't stay so I can't comment on the rooms, but I understand they are lovely. More

we spent new year December 2011 at the Copper Beech Inn and were really pleased with our lovely room in the Comstock House. It was large and bright with a grand bathroom(not enough towels) The staff was friendly. The restaurant was OUTSTANDING. It would not be possible to fault the food or wine list. The large breakfast had something for... More

From the moment my husband and I arrived we were happy When we came through the entrance the fireplace was going, making it cozy and warm...so nice for a chilly afternoon. We were greeted by Sara, who made us feel immediately welcome. She explained where our room was, gave us a key, and recommended a few nearby place to visit.... More

My husband and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday at the Copper Beech Inn. We could not have been happier. The main Inn is warm, cozy and comfortable. Our room was beautiful. The decor and colors made for a very restful time. The furniture was beautiful and so were the views. The bathroom was luxurious, with top of the line bathrobes,... More

Spent two nights at the Copper Beech Inn in November. It was our first time here and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Comstock House and the room was spacious and well decorated. Jacuzzi tub was the best and there was champagne waiting in our room when we arrived ( and it was not a special occasion.) The... More

The Copper Beech Inn is located in the wonderfully quaint area of Essex. While there isn't much happening in Ivoryton itself, the Inn is a short drive to Essex which must not be missed and other similar quaint New England villages. There arent many eating options close the the Inn, so we ate breakfast and dinner at the inhouse Pip's... More
