We had tickets for Goodspeed and dined at the Gelston House. The area reminds you of the Connecticut in story books. The setting is quite impressive, especially for first time visitors. Our daughter and new son-in-law decided to have their wedding reception at the Gelston House. Part of the package included several of the hotel rooms. The Cocktail 2 hours and Hors d’ oeuvres was on the patio and was a pleasant experience. Unfortunately the dinner was served about 45 minutes late. Not a problem for the over 21 crowd but... More

Exploring the area around the Goodspeed Opera House, you won't be able to miss this place. Seated right next door it is similar in design, with lovely grounds and just as attractive.
