My husband and I recently traveled through Walsenberg on our way to Las Vegas. We found this place to be just perfect for us. CLEAN and quaint. Great Service and a good night's sleep at the right price.Thank you. More

I stayed 4 nights and although it is an older property - probably one of the original 'mom and pop motels' - the 2nd generation owners were great. Bent over backwards to accommodate me. The property was clean - yup - older - but very clean - and they are just so earnest in trying to please their clientele -... More

We only stayed one night at the Anchor Motel. The woman at the desk was very friendly and asked if we had questions about the area or the town so we did chat a bit. It is an older motel but kept very clean. Our room was only $40 plus tax and was small but fixed up nicely. I can... More

Our car was towed to a shop across the street from the Anchor Motel. Imagine our surprise at the cost(little), tho the rooms are small they were very clean. The bathrooms where large and appeared to have been updated. The owners are very friendly and are willing to bend over backwards to help, as our car was ready way past... More

We stayed at the Anchor Motel in Walsenburg so we could visit Mission Wolf Sanctuary nearby. Our room was clean and included a microwave, mini fridge, and all the other basic amenities you would expect. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again for such a great price. More

I booked a reservation at this motel solely from Trip Advisor reviews and was absolutely impressed when I arrived. This is an older motel with small rooms that are spotless, perfectly clean nice large bathrooms, the shower was in perfect order and the airconditioner worked well and was quiet. The mattress and pillows were as good as my own. The... More

We broke down at the trail head at the west Spanish Peak on Sunday . Had the Jeep towed to Walsenburg and found ourselves at the Anchor. They were amazing and nice the rooms clean and affordable. We had to stay for 2 days. The friendly folks at the Anchor made the whole ordeal bearable!!! More

We stayed at the Anchor motel, the staff were very friendly, we were traveling on the motorcycle and had got caught in an earlier rain storm which caused some of our clothing to get wet. We were able to use the motel dryer to dry our clothing. They were having a "backyard" BBQ , It is a very homey feeling... More

We found ourselves having to stay in Walsenburg, but not wanting to spend alot. We had first tried the more well know hotel in the area, and decided it was too high. We then checked trip advisor, and this hotel shined. We decided to try it out. It was very nice. It was clean, plenty of room, and had extra... More

Have stayed in other establishments in Walsenburg in the past and have not been happy with them. The Anchor Motel was certainly a surprise and pleasure. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable and cozy. We will definitely stay there again when passing through Walsenburg. More
