We really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. Great location, as it was only steps away from outstanding restaurants, shopping and the all important, Vista Bahn chair lift. We found very clean and modern rooms that were well lit and spacious. I can't say enough about how warm and friendly the staff was. Everyone from the restaurant, to housekeeping, to... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. The room was a nice size and even had a balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is hard to believe the lodge in right in the middle of everything and yet is quiet and peaceful. It is close to the ski lifts and all the shops and restaurants. The... More

We stayed here after a week in Breckenridge. The Lodge website appears to avoid showing clear details about some of the rooms. Having booked a room that appeared to be appropriate, we arrived and found a slightly tired hotel lobby. We checked in and went to the room and found it to be quite small, dark and with a bathroom... I have stayed at The Lodge at Vail for many ski seasons and truly LOVE the staff, location and studio room with wood burning fireplace!! Even though there are some new properties in Vail Village.....The Lodge at Vail is still my favorite and by far the best location. I believe that a gondola lift will be available in Vail Village... During the depression, hobos rode the rails and if they had enough money, stayed at a flop house near the train station. Usually, the rooms had a Murphy bed. The Vail equivalent is the Studio room at the Lodge. Of course, it costs a heck of alot more, but you're certainly made comfortable and are close to the lifts and... More

Our stay was 5 nights. Front desk service was friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The hotel lobby, hallways and public restrooms were spotless. The hallways were a little outdated. The public restrooms were modern. Our room was an excellent size and well furnished. King size bed that was comfortable, small table for eating, 2 night stands, dresser... More

I loved my stay at the Lodge at Vail. The location is exactly what I wanted. 600 feet from the door of my poolside room to the Vista Bahn & ski valet. Lots of good places to eat within a 5 minute walk in the very heart of Vail. The staff were by and large excellent. I arrived at 10:30... More

We found a great deal on Jetsetter.com, called the hotel instead to book and had a great stay. Staff was great and service was excellent. We went Thanksgiving weekend and skiing was above average, but not crowded at all-anywhere. More

We just returned from our trip to Vail and are already planning our return trip. We loved the Lodge at Vail and how terrific the staff were. Although we paid more than we normally would at a hotel we understand this was spring break and the rates are higher than normal. The views from our room were amazing and the... More
