I have stayed in three other budget hotels in the boat and this one is the best BY Far. It was not only $20 cheaper then the others, but by far well taken care of. It is right downtown and right along the Yampa trail. The room was well equipped with a very nice large tv with lots of channels,... More

My daughter and some of her friends put together a Mothers Day and birthday celebration weekend in Steamboat for about 40 friends and family. They arranged for everyone to stay at the Rabbit Ears Motel. What a wonderful place to stay! Our room was modern and comfortable with a balcony that overlooked a rushing mountain stream at the point it... More

We stay here 3 or more times each year and have always been pleased. The rooms are clean, the bedding and pillows are very nice, and all rooms have a small fridge and a microwave. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good with yogurt and oranges and choices of breads, english muffins, and toaster waffles.... More

Such a convenient place to stay, and enjoy the mellower, friendlier downtown vibe that Steamboat has to offer. The downtown bars and stores are within walking distance. Service from the staff was wonderul, making sure everything was good. Room was very clean, with very comfortable bed and furniture. Room was actually quite large compared to what you get at some... I decided to stay here based upon the good reviews I had read, and I was not disappointed. For the price, it couldn't have been better. Even with a basic breakfast of breads, cereals, fruit and yogurt, it was still well laid out, clean and plentiful. We stayed in the rooms in the main building and the room was smaller... More

Great rates, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, really nice porch with the Yampa rolling by and super close and convenient to downtown Steamboat. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Continental breakfast was pretty standard, but nice to have a free meal in the morning before hitting the slopes. I really enjoyed my stay!

This is my second trip staying here in three years, and I like it even more than the first visit. The key is to get a room with a view of the Yampa River, which is up close and very soothing to listen to at night. The people that work here are like family (And probably are). The ski bus... More

This is a very nice, family run place. The beds are comfortable and the rates are reasonable. If you just want a place to sleep or are traveling alone stay in the rooms attached to the office. If you want to spread out a little or are traveling as a group or family stay in the the outer building rooms which... More

We stayed for a week at the Rabbit Ears Motel in March, 2013. Although an older property, it was a good place to stay when skiing. Location on the main road meant that the local (free) bus picked us up 100 feet from the motel; location was also close to all downtown restaurants and on the bus route to Walmart,... More

We stayed here for 1 night primarily for Strawberry Park Hot Springs (which is 20 min away). We stayed on a corner unit on the ground floor. It has parking right in front of the room doors so easy access to your car. Our unit had a balcony. Comfortable bed, hot shower, and enough space for 2. They're pet friendly... More
