We just stayed two nights here in "grandmas cottage". We love our trips to Colorado and love staying in cozy cabins while in Southfork and Pagosa Springs! Our cabin at Chinook was perfect! The owners couldn't have been any nicer and Mazey, the host dog is a sweetheart! The cabin was clean, full kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans...everything... More

Rebecca, Thank you for your nice review and we do appreciate when our guest let us know about any problems or concerns. We are in the process of updating several of our full beds with queen beds. We will include this cabin in our plans and replace this queen set as well. Again thank you for your comments and hope... More

We stayed here over Christmas to ski at Wolf Creek. It was great to have a kitchen and be able to bring our dog, and the hosts were nice and accommodating. The one big drawback was it was super cold. We had an industrial heater, but it really only worked for the main room -- the bathroom was freezing (as... More

We are very sorry that you were cold during your stay. If you had let us know there was a problem we could have helped you out. We have small electric heaters we could have given you to help warm up the cabin. Most people have told us the cabins are very warm. There has been however, a few number... More

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago, and was really impressed. Stayed in the Americana Cabin. Everything was set up with the red, white and blue motif. Really cute. Cabin had a kitchen, bedroom/living area with 2 beds - (TV, fireplace, heater, dressers, etc.) and a small cute little bathroom. Beds were comfortable - kitchen utensils - dishes - etc.... More

We recently stayed in the Victorian Rose cabin. It is a very comfortable and spacious cabin with all the amenities we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our needs as we had our three young children with us. We only stayed one night, but had we planned better, we would have stayed... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Chinook Lodge in the very clean/comfortable Fisherman's Cabin. We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin had everything needed --2 comfortable queen beds; a futon, table, chairs/benches and small kitchenette in another room and a small bathroom with a shower (no tub); stool and a sink outside the bathroom. Unlike other cabins we... More

The grounds were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was in a convenient spot for our activities in the area, and the price was reasonable. However, the cabin (Fort Wilderness) is billed to sleep up to 8. Maybe so, but with 6 it was tight. It has two bedrooms, but you had to walk thru... More

My family was passing through to Pagosa Springs and stayed at the Chinook for one night. I chose it because the price is great and the "cowboy" cabin would sleep our group of 5 easily - It will hold several more, so great for a large family. Hard to find somewhere for us and three grown children without getting 2... More

Comfortable lodging, great hosts. We arrived just in time for a pot luck supper and were invited to attend but assured we need not bring anything since we'd just arrived. My husband still found time to run into town to grab a couple of items. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

A great stay at Chinnook. Cabins with rustic old style charm that really enhanced our Colorado experience. As some reviews indicated – furnishings are a little tired – but this made no difference to us – we were glad to be able to stay in a real log cabin not a commercialised approximation of one. We stayed in Santa’s Hideaway,... More
