Excellent location in a remote area of Colorado. Host was very warm and welcoming. Rooms were well appointed...nice towels, great glassware...beautiful location. Spangler House is an amazingly clean, quiet, and relaxing place to stay! Superb food, great hosts who can converse intelligently on any number of topics from wildlife to politics. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. The walls were thin, could hear everything the up stairs people were doing, and the people in the front room were having going on for hours at night. If the accommodations don't get you, the aroma will!!! This B&B is delightful! Steve and Jill have a really spectacular place. Each morning Steve delights the guests with delicious breakfasts. Spanglerhouse is located just one block from the Main Street. A B&B in perfect shape. Steve is a nice host and, to my surprise, bakes the best banana bread I ever had. We rolled in at 6pm and were greeted by the resident deer in the area which were camped out right across the street. Great location for exploring main street Ouray.
