We spent the weekend there and participated in the Murder Mystery weekend. It was fantastic. Tons of fun! The view is amazing we could see red rocks out our bedroom window. The oversized jetted tub and heated bathroom floor was awesome. The service was great they are very friendly and it feels like a family there. Their food & coffee... More

The recent Murder Mystery was quite the fun experience! The guests are always in character throughout the weekend and continually questioning each other to determine the culprit! Thank you for this glowing report on Red Crags Estates and special thank you on the cooking ability! I try to make sure you do not need lunch!!! More

Four of us (two couples) stayed in a two-bedroom suite at Red Crags in late March 2013 and found it to be an outstanding experience. The off-season prices are great, and we had the whole house to ourselves. The two innkeepers also operate two other nearby B&Bs, one of which is the check-in and breakfast location for the Red Crags.... More

We stayed here one night at last minute notice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they greeted us late in the evening and was more then accommodating to us. I still can't believe how friendly the staff are! We stayed in the Cherub room in the Red Crags house, the house is so beautiful and has even inspired me to... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here in late September 2012 for one night. I wish we had canceled the rest of our trip and stayed here the entire time. Brett and Mo were the best (I'm a photographer and I even offered to take photos of Brett for a competition he was entering to be Santa in Japan! How many... More

What a wonderful description of our beautiful estates! As you stated, let us know what escape you are seeking and we will match your plans to our homes. And, oh by the way, I was selected as Santa! Thank you for the photography! HO HO HO! More

We were so impressed with the gracious hospitality at this beautiful B&B by both Maureen and Brett. Breakfast was delicious and the suite was lovely. The fireplace was "staged" and created a warm and homey atmosphere. It was recommended through the John Fielder guide "Best of Colorado" and it turned out some friends had recently stayed and enjoyed it.

We booked a room for the weekend as a "stay-cation" and we absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The house was very clean and well-kept. We stayed in the "off-season" (late November) and we were able to make use of the wood burning fireplace in our room, which was amazing, Breakfast was delicious and the bed... More

We found this treasure by happenstance and can't wait to go back. The view was incredible. Brett was friendly, approachable, and a great host. I really can't say enough nice things about this place. I wish we could have stayed forever!

Helpful staff, nice room, good breakfast. I recommend the Streamside for a couple looking to enjoy time with one another. Great experience and I would come back. Everything was as described on the website, no surprises. We enjoyed meeting fellow travelers at the breakfast table.

My husband and I checked in for a few nights over the weekend while in town for a friend's wedding. This was the absolute perfect place to stay. It's walking distance from downtown (lots of nice shops and restaurants), there's a fantastic restaurant right up the road, there are many hand-churned ice cream spots, and few things could beat the... We thank you for your kind words and input. Yes, the old galvanized steel tub is rounded at the bottom (unlike modern versions) but this is part of the charm of the room within this 1874 estate home. We do want our guests to take care when showering in this room. Why not just fill this jewel with nice hot... More

We welcome your comments. The privacy of each room is very important to us. The design of the Historic 100 year old home is critical to us, maintaining original architecture constructed by the Craftwood Shops of Manitou Springs historical fame. The individual rooms have modern air conditioning that are incredibly efficient and quite capable of keeping rooms cool. But the... More
