I traveled to Leadville to go up Mount Massive. I was there for overnight and the Super 8 was the closest to the mountain. My room was clean and the front desk was courteous. Nothing great about the place, but it is ok for a day or 2.

Leadville is small and actually a very cool little town. I have not stayed at any other hotel in this town but this place was great. Super cheap, clean, free breakfast, fridge, micro. Rooms are big enough to lay out your gear to dry or pack.

I stayed there for 5 nights for work.They offered a room with micro/fridge for no extra cost.Also,it looks like they just exchange the carpet and painted all rooms.Owners are great folks and very informative,turned me to lots of good-inexpensive restaurants.Every morning they offered free breakfast /cereal,apples,yogurt,juice,coffee,pastries,waffles/.Will be happy to stay here again.
