I was trying to teach my 17 yo son what to look for in hotels to stay at and so we started at the start of a whole bunch of hotels and he worked his way down. They were all between $40 and $150 per night. He found Knights Inn for $60 for a double room (2 Queen size beds)... More

We had a great two night stay at the Knights Inn. The room was a lot larger than we expected and very clean! The beds left something to be desired, but for the rate we paid I am 100% happy. If we go back to Durango we will will probably stay here again. More

Driving in from Salt Lake City by motorcycle, the four of us had a long fun day on the road. The Knight's Inn on the north end of town was an easy pick for us. Our room rate was $45 for 2 queen beds; a Friday night in October. We're happy with the price. Yes the room and furnishings are... More

First up I'd like to say that if you review a place you should at least get your facts straight. Did you actually stay in this particular hotel or the one down the road? And secondly, yes, you are entitled to your opinion. But if you've paid $55 and get two queen beds, his 'n' hers sinks, separate bathroom, TV,... More

I'm not sure what some of these reviewers are expecting out of a hotel in this price range. I paid 45 bucks and a mere 8 dollar pet fee, and I did NOT expect the Hilton! What I got was a clean room, a comfortable bed, an internet signal, a fridge a microwave and a good hot shower. What more... More

Durango is a "kids" town! If your 20 years old and an outdoorsman, OK. If your a traveler and a senior citizen, go elsewhere! The rooms are VERY small, smelly and not too clean. Old and rundown! And very expensive. Almost $80. ( with tax) a night in mid September.. 2 very small pillows on a hard bed. ...No king... More

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. The smaller room you stayed in the first night has a double bed and is a nice room but you are correct, it is better for one person. The second room you were in had a Tempur-Pedic style mattress so I hope you slept better the rest of your... More

Sometimes hotels should be rated simply on their value. For example: Given what I paid, compared to what I could've paid, how was the property? Reviewing The Knights Inn falls into that category. The motel is old, worn, and generally nothing more than okay. However, it was the cheapest online option in Durango while I was there. In fact, it... More

We were on the eighth night of a camping trip and wanted a break to get a shower and do some laundry. We were travelling with our dog, so we required a "pet-friendly" hotel. I scanned through the internet and found this one. The price was right - under $60, plus a fee for the dog - and they had... More

This room was small and outdated. The bedding was old and had tears in the bedspread. The baseboard heating was rusted in spots and the shower seemed to have mold growing in the caulking but I did not want to investigate too far. There has been no updating to this place in 20 years. At $72 a night it was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, the check-in staff were very polite and helpful during our stay, nothing was a problem, probably the best thing about this motel.
