We were stranded in 20 below winter weather, late at night, unable to get into our driveway due to it not having been plowed. The owner, Marcia, graciously let us stay in a very comfortable room and put our groceries in the refrigerator that was in the room. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep....

crestone is only accessible via a pretty much single road in that ends at the base of the incredible sangre de cristo range. as its not really on the way anywhere,...
