beautiful quiet 2 night stay. Incredibly comfortable king-size bed in spacious room. Delicious breakfast on the deck in a bush setting. Sue and Trevor and both friendly and discreet. A little noise during the day due to construction of cabins, which are almost complete, but otherwise tranquil.

Stayed there for a wedding up the road. Very quiet and peaceful. Folk real friendly and breakfast was good. Set in the bush so you feel real isolated. Not a lot to do in the area so you have to relax.

My partner and I stayed at the Mount Cotton Guest House for a weekend escape. Our experience was overall pleasurable. When we finally arrived after missing the entrance due to lack easily-identifiable signage, we were greeted by a friendly puppy and kitten to what honestly appears to be just a regular residential address. The lady at reception greeted us warmly... More

We stayed here for a weekend visit to Brisbane and were greeted by Chico the dog and his feline friend - I felt that they were a bit disorganised - We booked a 2 bedroom unit - Our booking was for 4 people, however the room was only set up for 2 - we had to ask for more coffee... More

Why bother paying stupid inflated prices for accommodation in Brisbane each week. Only half an hour from the city. You will be greeted by the owners Sue & Trevor who are both colourful characters in their own rights. $160 per night also includes a fully cooked breakfast. Great value, great location, great people.

My wife and I stayed in June 2012 over a rainy weekend. We had a fantastic relaxing time. Good food, comfortable room, lovely welcoming people. Complimentary port and cookies in the rooms is great! The only minor point was the minibar drinks were out of date. High tea was delicious.

As an alternative to the suburban motels or characterless apartments for short stays in that corridor between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, this B & B provides a tranquil and relaxing home away from home - lovely rooms, great food, wireless internet and a warm welcome from Sue. In fact it is too easy to forget about the work and... More

The most wonderful place to stay. The guest house is well decorated, has all of the amenities, warmth and friendliness of home. Guests become friends, sharing meals or while watching the "tellie" together. The kookaburra's rage about the place and the Cockatiels enjoy sharing breakfaast with you as many will fly to within feet of your breakfast table. The hostess... More

We stayed 5 nights at this small B&B and loved every minute of it. Due to an overlapping reservation, we stayed in two different rooms: one night in the Casbah Room upstairs and four nights in the Garden Room downstairs. Both were very nice. The B&B has a total of 6 rooms and is set in a very peaceful, serene... More

We booked this as a quick getaway from Brisbane. As others have said, the location feels quite remote and is very relaxing, yet is close to main roads and easily accessed. A very warm welcome from the owners, a beautiful room with all the usual amenities and plenty of helpful advice and local info available. The restaurant at the local... More
