From the moment we were picked up at the airport, and greeted at the ranch with one of many, 5 star meals, to the day we left crying it was over, the trip was majical!!! We searched the internet looking for "horsebackriding and spa vacations", and... More

WOW! We had a great time at Wit's End Ranch! The staff went out of their way to make everything amazing for us. We loved the horses my son even asked if he could take his horse home on the plane. The wranglers were great and very patient with us. They were not your typically "cowboys/ cowgirls" They were neat... More

What a disappointment! They describe the ranch as a luxury guest ranch & nothing could be further from the truth. This ranch is very simple & plain. The brochures lead you to believe the ranch is on a lake with access to boats. The ranch is not within walking distance of the lake, you have to take a car to... More

We just returned from a week long family vacation at Wit's End. This was the first time in many years, that my parents, brothers and sisters and all of our children were going on vacation together. Our experience was nothing less than spectacular. Our ages ranged from 9 to 78. Each of our families had separate cabins. The cabin in... More

The owners of the Wit's End Guest Ranch and Resort, Jim and Karen Custer, made our experience in a word, incredible. Mr. Custer personally picked us up from the Durango airport which made us feel truly special. On the car ride, we got to know him intimately and his knowledge and expertise made us incredibly excited to get there! My... More

This was without a doubt the worst vacation we have ever been on. I also could not find a review of Wits End before we booked. I am however , a believer in "You get what you pay for." Not here! We have been to other guest ranches and had a certain expectation of what a $13,000.00 vacation at a... More

This is a wonderful place with incredible natural beauty surrounding the property. My parents took my family of three and my sisters family of four so there were 9 of us total. Our ages ranged from 63 to 4 years old. We stayed in a 4 bedroom cabin that was about 50 yards from the main lodge ( where all... More

Wit’s End Guest Ranch and Spa is the perfect vacation place! I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go there again. From the owners and employees to the accommodations, food and activities – you just can’t beat it! Jim and Karen Custer, the owners, have created a little bit of heaven on earth. Truly! Of course, they can’t... More

We vacationed at Wit's End July 15-22, 2006. Before arriving, we were not sure what to expect because of a review posted a week earlier by a guest. But in less than 24 hours of arriving, we felt that this could in fact be a fantastic week. And indeed, it turned out to be just that. We can only imagine... More

My wife and I and our 5 year year old son stayed at Wit's End two weeks ago and we had a wonderful time. The cabin we had was cozy and comfortable, and the food we enjoyed included a tranquil and idyllic outdoor barbeque, some great fine dining (mahi mahi, sushi grade tuna and yellow snapper), and hearty luches including...
