I've stayed at a few different places in LA recently and this is definitely my favourite.
It isn't a huge modern sprawling hotel. It's a really nice, old school place with great rooms, a lovely rooftop and great staff. I'm sure there are places all over LA that have a better gym, or a better pool, a better restaurant etc...

The rooms are all very large, with a sitting area and a kitchenette. Furniture was all very modern and up-to-date. The cafe has a good breakfast menu, and service was good. The roof-top pool (and tennis court) were an added plus; there was a nice shaded gazebo too.
