This is my usual go-to place in Truckee primarily for the location. It is close to Northstar with easy access to Truckee for dinner and what-not. In top condition, this Hampton is only about 5-6 years old. We had a nice stay, everything was good, as expected. It was a bit overpriced, but there are limited choices for nice inns in Truckee.

We stopped here for a night on the way from Lake Tahoe to Lassen National Park. Wandered into Truckee for a meal or two and some sightseeing.
