I arrived late into Perth so looked online for a cheap hotel close to the airport to see me through until the morning where I had a meeting in the city before heading off to spend a few nights with some friends out in the suburbs.
Perth has a notorious reputation for overcharging on hotel rooms and giving pretty shoddy...

The Red Castle Hotel has been taken over by a fresh young team of people. We plan to refurbish all rooms, starting (approx) May 2013. All rooms will be completely made new with a contemporarty feel with an injection of 1960's style furniture pieces. We are very excited about our new prospect. As it stands, our hotel is still in opperation. They are neat, clean and spacious. We have aquired new linen (aug 2012) and will be receiving 6 brand new queen beds (early sept 2012) with more to come. We are only a 10min walk to Burswood Casino, 2 min walk to public transport and only 10min ride to the airport. We are extremely competative with our rates as Perth is quite expensive for accommodation. Our rooms offer: Double, Queen or King Beds, Large floorplan, tv, heat/aircon, small dining table setting, walk in robe, ensuite, microwave, toaster, kettle, tea/coffee, all rooms have a balcony.
