Stayed at this disgusting Motor lodge with my family paying $250.00 a night for 2 bedroom apartment which was really one room with 2 king single beds and Queen bed was in main room. Apart from the apparent overall dirty feel to the room and tired, old, outdated surroundings we found Kitchen venetian blinds dirty and bent Main panel of kitchen cupboard coming apart with obvious water damage Moldy Fan in Bathroom Nil hand towel Nil towels for pool Noisy at all times, day and night Disgusting lift, stairs, ramps, walkways to get to rooms- Obviously all outside, but no care taken to these areas in a long time, Bin area foul smelling and overflowing People parking all over the place, with disregard to no-park areas-we made reception aware and nil action taken Staff at front desk (one particular male employee) unwilling to help almost to the point of being rude I have never in my travels felt the need to write such a review and don't feel nice doing so but had to speak up. DON'T STAY!!

As far as Australian prices go ,the location and price of this place is reasonable, positives are nearby eateries and close to public transport and a 30 minute walk to the casino., the reception staff are OK, be aware, no cash deposit is allowed at this hotel for some reason, a first for me? The single queen room i had was very big and had a kitchen with pretty much everything you need, all very clean, as was the room. However the negatives far outweigh the positives, it did rain on my second day and the entire place becomes an ice rink, with people clinging to the walls, in fear of a slide, 2 yellow slippery signs don't quite cut it!! In safety conscious WA, something needs to be done, I would class this a huge obstacle for anyone not fine on their feet. The maids in the morning are noisy, and that is with my bed far from the main entry, which brings me to the biggest complaint, the entry door to the room is paper thin and has gaps all the way around, with all the prison style ashtrays scattered around on the landings, this allows the smoke to enter your room, pretty disgusting. If I book a non smoking room I don't expect a commercial sized ashtray within metres of my room door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this place, due to the slip dangers and more so, the smoking issue. I am moving to the Novotel in the CBD for a similar price tomorrow, apart from having to pay $20 for parking, its much the same price, and I doubt Ill have people smoking at my door?!?!

The room we were allocated had new carpet which was lovely, the entry, bathroom floor tiles and shower tiles were marked and appeared to not have been cleaned before our visit. The towels were thin and had a grey tinge. The motel is very noisy, I found it difficult to sleep with the traffic noise. The bed is reaching the end of it life and was not that comfortable. No hairdryer in the bathroom. OK for just a single night but wouldn’t recommend for a multiple night stay.

Basic and Noisy. Do not stay in the rooms on the ground floor at the rear - noisy cars and trucks near the rooms and industrial rubbish bins nearby and cleaners and patrons walking past. The rubbish bin had not been emptied and there were no tea towels or dish cloths. No restaurant in a motel of this size was disappointing and they had a menu for the Flag Motel down the road in their information folder, which was strange. This is a motel used by tradies, with even prime movers parked in the rear carpark, so lots of idling diesels and vehicles leaving at all hours of the early morning. We would not use this motel again, especially for the price we paid.

Absolutely disgusted with this place. They water there whole bottom garden area with the foulest smelling bore water, I'd suggest not having your aircon on when this occurs as it will suck the stench through the tiny room. Upon calling the front desk I was told too bad, that they'd turn off in 15mins there was nothing to be done. Yet they went on for over 30mins 0.5/5 stars

$190 for the night. Yep that’s one night… at a motor lodge! We paid it thinking the place must be ok. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful- they get the points here, but unfortunately the accommodation standards were well below par. Perhaps covid is still causing staff shortages here!? Whatever the case our experience was not good. Arrived to our room on the top floor up three flights of stairs only to discover the water jug on the fridge was completely empty.. Didn’t mind that too much as it we thought it may have just been an oversight, but we then found rubbish on the floor, a substance on the carpet that had not been cleaned (gee the imagination ran wild here- see photo of white stain) and the bathroom exhaust fan cover looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a decade. There was one air conditioner situated in the far corner of the lounge room- this cooled the area well, however no aircon (or fan) in the bedroom, so bedroom was quite warm being a hot day on Perth, it took a long time for it to cool down enough with the door open to get to sleep. Our room backed on to the great eastern highway, windows can’t have been double glazed as we heard the traffic all night. Pillows uncomfortable, bed large but uncomfortable. Place had a funny smell- musty. I really don’t like posting negative reviews but value for money is extremely important, which we did not get at all here. Another factor to consider is that there is only one lift on the premises located behind reception. Our room was at the opposite end of the car park, so once we had used the lift it was a very narrow and long walk with all our luggage to get to the room. We chose to stay here as it’s close to Crown Casino where we had a dinner booking, however there are plenty of excellent hotels around the same price nearby, will opt for one of those next time. Another positive to end- plenty of parking.

Terrible night...Arrived 5pm Air conditioner which was really dirty and mouldy, badly in need of deep clean. Other guests started yelling at 5pm until police could finally quell the racous at about 9.30pm. Obviously they don't screen the guests at all. Pizza guy knocked and tried to deliver a pizza which wasn't ours. I told him to take it to the front office but I think he left it at our door. Owner of pizza knocked about an hour later and wanted pizza which we didnt have. So no security. When the yelling stopped we decided to go to bed and found the sheets were dirty and even had someone elses socks in the bed. Staff member apologised and gave us new sheets but we had to make the beds ourselves. The light switch toggle lever in the bedroom with two single beds was behaving differently than what it should. An indication it is worn and needs replacing. Only good thing was the airport shuttle service.
