Our car broke down and we were 'stuck' in Templeton for the evening. I looked up places to stay and this one came up. My phone died, so we were driven to the Inn. Scott & Elaine were so wonderful. They fixed a room up, opened a bottle a wine and got us settled within minutes. It was such a... More

If you are looking for a home away from home this is the place for you! Elaine and Scott are very informative regarding the areas vineyards. Elaine prepares a fantastic, nutritious breakfast to get your day started!!! Can't get a better bed and breakfast! Dont forget to go for a bike ride.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in the Bike Lane Inn, a comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfast in the Paso Robles wine growing area of the Central Coast of California. The Inn Keepers, Elaine and Scott were in touch before we arrived with suggestions of what to see and do on our drive up frn Santa Barbara.... More

We spent December 20-23, 4 nights, in the Queen Room and had a great time in this quiet home with perfect hosts Elaine and Scott. Their home is quite beautiful with breathtaking views of the hills from the kitchen window. Elaine was able to flex to our breakfast desires (simple, nutritious, to counter the Xmas cookies and coffee cake). We... More

This is our second stay--the first was during harvest festival weekend. Scott and Elaine are amazing hosts and we feel like we are visiting friends whenever we stay here. They are avid road cyclists and we are too, and they took us on a lovely 18 mile loop through back yards and rolling hills. We called this visit our back... More

We never got to stay but I think it is important for Tripadvisor members to understand the booking process. We tried to book their Queen Room, the only one with a private bath, for Thanksgiving night and the night after. It showed as available on their web site. My wife called to ask some questions and suddenly the room might... More

We apologize for the misunderstanding regarding booking a room for Thanksgiving. Since we are a “homestay” B&B, all the rooms are bedrooms in our home. At the time you booked, we were unsure whether our family would be visiting for the holidays, in which case they probably would have been given the Queen room that you requested. That is why... More

We arrived late and left fairly early. Wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious.

We wanted a getaway under 6 hrs from home. Arrived late afternoon and were greeted with a glass of wine and good cheer from warm hosts "Scott and Elaine." Ammenities and breakfast provided were of the quality you'd expect in a much higher-priced hotel-all for just $89 ($97 includ. tax). Wonderful peach crepe breakfast with sausage, a bowl of beautiful... More

I was visiting my son in Atascadero, and decided to stay at the Bike Lane B&B so that I could have some vacation time to myself. I was surprised at how much this Inn felt like being at home. My room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was just what I requested: yogurt, and an assortment of fresh fruit,... More
