The physical characteristics are great: location great, bar and restaurant ambiance is great, pool table great. Food was good and service was prompt and courteous. Well located for journey from San Francisco over high sierras to Yosemite. Very scenic location on river. Basic room and basic bar food. Kitchen closed at 8 and the place was deserted so felt obliged to go to bed at 9. Quite expensive compared to other places we stayed.
