The Always Inn Tahoe was a great find - I'm hesitant to counteract the negative reviews since we'd like to keep it to ourselves, but it was such a nice B&B that they deserve better publicity. I agree with the first review. You can barely make out the driveway and the front entrance. The "inn" is hidden behind layers of snow which no one seems to shovel, ever. My friend walked into a living room with a family watching a movie, and no one seemed to notice him. He asked where he should check in, and... More

We spent one night at Always Inn Tahoe, and we would not recommend it to anybody. The snow was up to the roof, covering all low-level windows. Sierra Room turned out to be a converted basement without the carpet(!), just concrete floor covered with rug. "Fireplace" is actually a tiny gas stove in the corner. If we didn't make a... More
