We stayed twice at the Vine Hill Inn B&B in Sebastopol during this month, once we had two rooms and the second time one room with my daughter as a mother/daughter getaway weekend. We really enjoyed both our stays, the owner Kathy is absolutely a fantastic person. She made sure to check with us for special requests and was keen... More

The vine hill inn is located about 8 miles from the downtown area of sebastopol, not a far drive but definitely too far to walk. I saw another review that said the grounds were in disrepair. I don't know if things have been taken care of since, but my opinion is that it is all just slightly "undone" in spots... More

I found this place to be rather amusing and question the reason why this woman decided to become an inn keeper. I like to stay at B & B's for the hospitality and warm social environment they offer. This place left me feeling like she just needed to make some extra money off her extra rooms. The photos are quite... More

We should have known. The first thing we saw on are way upstairs to our room was a pair of kid's underwear hanging on the bannister. We were informed at that moment, that a family of five had rented three of the four rooms. That was our cue to turn around and leave, but we stayed. Our room was very... More

My father and I arrived late one night, and Kathy was kind enough to take us in when she wasn't expecting any guests. On the plus side, Kathy is a very gracious host and made us feel welcome enough. However, this is the ONLY reason I rate this B and B "2 stars". The accommodations do not measure up to... More

To put it simply, this place is a great house, but has no real business being a B&B. Our review is based on the many B&Bs we've stayed at. This place is highly overpriced (we paid $160 + $24 tax for one night). The reasons: It offers no real privacy because the walls are paper thin, the rooms are very... More

Vine Hill Inn was perfect for what we needed. A nice place to stay including nice conversation with Kathy. We started every morning with a very nice breakfast, ready each morning at the time we requested it. We toured wine country each day and came back to a nice bed and quiet place to sleep. Wireless internet helped us keep... More

We stayed for 5 nights at the Vine Hill Inn. The rooms are small but cozy. We found Kathy to be warm and engaging. The breakfasts were delicious. Often we lingered over breakfast because we enjoyed talking with the other guests or Kathy. We enjoyed visiting with her and found her to be very helpful. She truly makes you feel... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in September. Although the rooms are small, we really enjoyed our stay. The inn is located in a beautiful, quiet area, yet close to town for dining and shopping, and close to many wineries. Breakfasts were wonderful and Kathy was extremely accommodating and helpful. The bottom line is that you were felt to be unwelcome and unrespected in various ways despite being a paying customer, besides the flaws in the accomodations. Definitely the worst bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The website says you can make dietary requests at time of room confirmation, and while the innkeeper did agree to remove the... More
