Excellent view from the clean and quiet room. Service was excellent and the perks of bottles of water and apples was an added touch to the Scottish service! Great little cafe downstairs too.

Pretty hotel in a great location - we thought it might be noisy but not so. The cheaper rooms are on the small side (we used 213 & 4), with nowhere for big luggage in the rooms, but more than fine for a couple of nights. We spent two nights (rm 203) and loved the hotel and being in this area with immediate ferry access. Reminds us of our better European stays! Billy and all his staff (relatives?) were fun and helpful. Rm 203 is the best with a unique bay window to watch the busy street below.
