Suited on Colorado and 2nd street you cannt beat the location if this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious but you can tell the hotel is a little old and probably needs a make over in the coming years. The hotel is average. Stayed just for one night. Chose it due to its location. Santa Monica Pier, shopping, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Stayed in room 319. Average rooms. Clean. Easy to park, but can be complicated getting in to the hotel is you are coming from the wrong direction.

Second brief stay here - close to LAX and a good place to break up long Australia/New York flights. Wonderfully located next door to Santa Monica Pier and brand new shopping mall (Barney's, Bloomingdales,etc, with stylish rooftop wine bar). An easy walk or hire bike ride to Venice Beach and back.
