Reasonably priced property in the best location in Santa Monica. Joy at the front desk was helpful in giving directions and providing guidance to local attractions. Rooms are clean and the ocean view balconies provide sunset views galore. Parking fee reasonable but the lot is difficult to maneuver. Overall a bargain in a very expensive neighborhood.

Obvisoulsy not the best in area but a hotel which my bf and adored. To be woken up by the fresh gentle breeze, calm ocean sounds and pleasant sea views will always be a winner for us! Addition, Ocean gave us 10% of Jinky's breakfast.

Stayed there for 3 nights, a no frills hotel but beautifully located virtually just over the road from Santa Monica pier. Room was musty, old and needed updating. definitely would pay the extra for an ocean view otherwise you look at an alley way or airconditioning units. Came upon this hotel by chance and am really glad we stayed there. On Ocean Avenue, right opposite the pier with good restaurants nearby, this hotel is good value for money, except for the $20 a night parking, and friendly staff. The location made this place accessible to everything, the pier, 3rd Street plus easy public access to pretty much all the major sightseeing locations .
