One of my favorite hotels . . . period. You can't beat the location, hotel amenities, rooms, food, . . . the list goes on. I will definitely return. The only negative is cost, but you should know that before you book this hotel.

The location is just fabulous, overlooking the ocean. The rooms were very comfortable, and were very tastefully done up with coffee table books, etc. The staff was extremely courteous and the view was just to kill for. Quite an enjoyable place to enjoy the Santa Monica pier and also the Santa Monica beach.
