We stayed at the Eagle Inn for the first time last night and come to this section of Santa Barbara frequently. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were definitely looking for a special trip for the 230.00 a night price. Upon arrival we hoped for the best. The room was a bit small (especially for the price), but everything... More

We stayed at the Eagle Inn for two nights and three days, and I can't say enough about how amazing this location truly is. As soon as we checked in the young lady at the front desk was friendly and full of knowledge about the area. We enjoyed our private balcony and loved the built-in fireplace. There was a cute... More

Located in a delightful and quiet neighborhood only 2 blocks from Santa Barbara's beautiful beaches, the bougainvillea covered Eagle Inn had so many beautiful little surprises. Our queen bedded room was immaculately clean and the room appeared fresh and neat overall - as if the hotel had possibly undergone a very recent renovation. The doors to the rooms reflected a... We spent 4 glorious days! The room, staff and food were all wonderful. We can not say enough...Bob even brought our favorite bath salts and coffee directly to our room when we requested them! The grounds are also beautiful and be sure to ask for their special romance package which includes champagne, roses and chocolate covered strawberries upon your arrival!... More

We stayed three nights in the Santa Cruz cottage...what a wonderful time we had! The cottage has a living room area, cute kitchen, large bath with a two-head shower, and the bedroom was luxurious! Beautifully decorated and lots of space to hang and store clothes, and the SOFTEST sheets anywhere. The best part was the whirlpool tub for two, complete... More

I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. My partner and I celebrated our first year anniversary here and we truly enjoyed the peacefulness of this place. The room was a bit small for the price, but the hot tub made up for it. The decoration in the room was lovely. Breakfast was outstanding, we had plenty to choose from.... More

So happy to hear your stay was good. Next time, try the Santa Rosa Cottage or the Santa Barbara Cottage. Space will not be an issue! Looking forward to seeing you again next year. All the best. Paul More

We reserved a room because of price and location. The hotel looked fine at first. But...there was quite a bit of mold in the air conditioning unit. Then water came pouring through the ceiling at 3 am. No one answered when we called the room above us and when we called the front desk. No one was at the front... More

When dealing with internet based reservation companies there is often difficulty actually getting to speak with a real person. Then, finding the person that can actually help you to reverse charges etc. is also a challenge. I am sorry that it took more than a few days to get them to credit you account. The old 'through the window' air... More

My husband and I wanted a close getaway that was romantic and relaxing. We settled on Santa Barbara and after much research considered both the Four Seasons and Eagle Inn. We decided to do the seafood buffet at the Four Seasons (Thursday nights) and to book a cottage at the Eagle Inn for 3 nights. Turned out to be the... More

Thank you for the nice review! We are all happy that you enjoyed your stay. Our staff really do try hard to give good recommendations and direct our visitors to some of the nicer places in town. Great that you dug the vibe here. No sense in being pretentious - we just want everyone to enjoy themselves. See you next... More
