We stayed at the Eagle Inn with several other family members gathering in SB for a wedding. The hotel is in a great location - a short walk to the harbor and the paths along the waterfront, and close enough to walk to dinner on State St. Our room was spacious, quiet, very tidy and comfortable. But the real standout... More

Thank you for your kind review. Our staff really do try to be helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to go have a fine meal. I tell everyone that works here to treat our guests better than they'd guests in your own home. We appreciate each and every visitor and strive to make their stay here memorable.... More

My wife, 18 month baby and myself stayed here for a weekend in April. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious but not quite as good as the photos suggested on the website. I think the photos on the website show a room overlooking a courtyard and our room overlooked a road outside. The breakfast was... More

We appreciate all reviews and try hard to take into consideration our guests' taste. If ever there's something you're not too fond of, we can try to change it for you. So if the bagels and lox for breakfast is not to your taste, just ask, and Jena or Louise will be happy to prepare something different for you. Thanks... More

I had meetings on the Central Coast last week and made the Eagle Inn my base for a couple of nites. I think everything has pretty much been said about the Eagle Inn - helpful staff, wonderful location, nice rooms. I was a little skeptical about the energy efficient room where you need to put your key card in a... More

It must be torture, having to come to Santa Barbara and be on business! Looking out of the window in the conference room wishing that you could be outdoors. There's so much to do - shopping, visiting historical sites, walking on the beach, surfing, etc. etc. Next time you come, please do bring your family and enjoy the fun things... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights the last week of April. It was my third visit to the Eagle Inn. The location is excellent, you can walk to most every where fun in Santa Barbara. The Inn is family owned and provides great service to the guests. The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. The... More

Wow. Your third stay!!! That's fantastic. We love to hear stories from our repeat visitors. I'm happy that each time you come you find our service and amenities to be better than the last. The bikes, the special price and the Jalapeno Waffles - we're trying to be different than the other run of the mill places and it sounds... More

Our recent stay was very restful, comfortable and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds extremely comfy. The grounds, hotel, and rooms all impeccably clean, simply decorated creating a delightfully serene getaway. Each day we looked forward to the new menu for breakfast. Their breakafasts were so far above the large hotel chains continental breakfasts - there was fresh... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Santa Barbara last week. We are from Illinois and were celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary. I researched bed and breakfasts on line before booking a casita at the Eagle Inn. I read many reviews and thoroughly read the descriptions of each casita before deciding on the San Clemente. My husband and... More

Ahhhh eating breakfast outside on the patio in April. How wonderful is that? We love it and we're so happy that you enjoyed yourselves while staying with us. Congratulations on 23 years. Hopefully there'll be many more, and hopefully you'll be able to visit us on a few of those. Thanks again. More

I planned our first romantic weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I to celebrate his birthday. We chose Santa Barbara because neither of us had ever been to this beautiful city. So finding a place to stay was difficult because I did not know Santa Barbara at all. But as I did my research on Hotels, Bed & Breakfast, Inn's,... More

The Eagle Inn staff was welcoming and made my birthday getaway memorable (they left me a personal birthday card on the bed). We found the staff's food recommendations were exactly what we had wanted. We look forward to seeing you again soon too! Let's see...your birthday just passed, so maybe the next special event trip could be to come for Old Spanish Days during the first weekend of August, or perhaps even the July 4th weekend? You know we'll take good care of you whenever you come back! More
