My Mom and I stayed at the Hyatt House (formerly Hotel Sierra) in San Jose in Dec 2011. It's extremely clean with a nice big sitting room/kitchen area and a nice separate bedroom. Two rooms allow for work while someone is resting. Parking is convenient in the garage next door. Multiple mid-priced restaurants are also nearby. Good breakfast included in... More

My family and I stayed here on a Saturday night in May. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. We booked a 2 bedroom suite with 2 king beds. I was hoping for the 2 bedroom suite with 2 queens/1 king but that was sold out. My 8yo son slept in one king bed, my 7yo daughter slept in the pull... More

My room was spacious, with a large TV, kitchen, and lounge. Very clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My only qualm is the complementary breakfast, which was a bit short on options (fresh vegetables would have been nice). Otherwise, it's a superb option. More

I stayed here while visiting my son who lives nearby. I like this line better than Hyatt Place. I reserved a king room for $80/night for three nights and was upgraded to a studio suite overlooking the front of the hotel (Hyatt Passport member). There was a lot of construction around the hotel but the noise wasn't too bad inside... More

As someone who travels weekly for business, is attached to Starwood and has never stayed in a Hyatt, I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Pros: - Age of the hotel: One of the biggest pluses of this hotel is that it is fairly new and you can tell; no strange odors, stains, cracks, chipping or other things you... More

Recently opened, Hyatt House, designed for business travelers and somewhat longer stays is a sterile looking, bland structure. It's hard to find but suffices. More

Good hotel for larger families. Close, but not too close to airport. Suburban setting. Phenomenal rooms, good breakfast buffet. Good for business travel as well. More

We went down to the Bay area over Christmas break to catch a few college basketball games. We had to be central to Stanford, Santa Clara and Oakland. This hotel is amazing. If it were in a major city It's rates would be 300-400/night. Nice pool, great rooms. The rooms are spotless and are more like suites. Full refrigerator, microwave,... More

This is a new hotel that was built in a business district of Silicon Valley. Since the hotel was new, the hotel was in pristine condition. Small but welcoming lobby with staff who were ready to help. At check-in I was even offered a quick tour of the facilities - what a nice touch! The room was small but it's... More

This was a welcomed change compared to staying at the many run down Silicon Valley hotels in the area. I will very likely make this my new home away from home now. There are several restaurants and a Target right next door which is very convenient for buying groceries and other needs. All in all, I was very impressed with... More
