I found this hotel as an alternative to paying the vast rates one would find staying in a similar hotel in downtown San Francisco. One could easily stay here and still get into San Francisco as it is within a 10 minute of the Caltrain station at San Bruno although it is considerably further to get to the BART station... More

This is a 'convenience' hotel, for folks flying out of San Francisco airport. That wasn't why we stayed, however. “Convenient, friendly HoJo close to SF Airport.”

We stayed one night at the HoJo before a big trip to East Asia the next day. The Hotel is very well kept. The management's care and pride of place really shows. “Nice for a quick night stay”

Very close to airport, no problems checking in even at 2 AM in the night. breakfast was adequate and decent. Rooms were clean as well. Only complaint is that the parking underground and on the street level is very congested and difficult to park and reverse while going out. Close to grocery/pharmacy stores as well.

I stayed here two non-consecutive nights while visiting the Bay Area. Both nights the room I had was simple but clean. The bathrooms are in good condition with the exception of Room 318 where the faucet was installed incorrectly. After trying unsuccessfully to wait for hot water I called the front desk.
