i stayed here 2 nights because i was hiking at pinnacles national park, which is a beautiful place to hike. this motel is also extremely cheap for the monterey area- motels in monterey of similar quality charge over $100 on w/es whereas this motel 6 charges around $39. but it's at least a 30 minute drive to monterey from salinas.... I arrived in the late afternoon-not too bad at that time. Later all types of people hanging on in parking lot-noisy. The men hanging out scared me and I spent the whole night in the room double locked. Not a good environment for a single woman. Dirty parking lot. bathroom needed cleaning. definitely would not stay here again. More
