I have previously reviewed this hotel about a year ago and proclaimed it "THe place to stay in Redding." I am pleased to report it still is. The hotel was completely booked on a Thursday night but yet it was quiet and very peaceful. Great location near food, shopping and gas.

We've stopped in Redding many times and this is the best place we've found. No freeway noise, vey clean, great staff, good beds, and lots of hot water for showers. It's near many restaurants–chains, mostly–and has easy access to the highway. Just to say again, no freeway noise! Complimentary breakfast is good, if standard, self-service.

Plenty of 2/3 stars options in Redding but the Hampton Inn is very nice and look fairly new. It is one block off the main road and away from the freeway. Clean new towels and fluffy comforter. Will stay again.
We stayed here one night. Super clean, above average I would say. Very comfy beds. I kept saying "this was a great place for Redding", but in truth this is a great palce compared to anywhere. i wills stay again.

When we arrived, the reception staff member was able to reassign our rooms as adjoining rather than totally separate. She did so with no fuss, and was able to do so quickly and efficiently.
Hampton Inns do a good job with large enough space, free wifi (THANK YOU!), hot breakfast, clean sheets, fluffy towels and good amenities.
