The people seem to really care about their customers. In all of my dealings I have found them to be courteous and sympathetic to me and my friends' needs. Thanks M Star! Keep up the good work.

Be careful of these scam artists. You are very likely to get sick staying at this place. The only thing nice at this place is the automated message when you first call this place. It is a MOTEL not Hotel. Roaches, spider webs, filthy carpet, non circulating bacteria filled air, horrible smell, cardboard thin walls, non fitting undersized sheets pieced...

I've stayed here twice because I like the look of the place and Red Bluff is a very cute little town. I prefer it to Redding which seems kind of difficult to navigate.
My friend reserved this hotel through Hotels.com and that was his first mistake. It pictured a basic hotel that look nice and was reasonably priced for the area. When he got there, it looked like a dump. There was garbage piled up outside the rooms. The room they tried to give him wasn't fit for occupation. It was so filthy...

It is and older building needs upgrades, but for the price and location is really good. They have a discounted breakfast at the Cozy diner which is a local diner with a homey feeling everyone is so nice just a good please to be and eat and the 10% off is just a plus. Love the place we have stay...

Several problems and some plusses with this motel.
1. Cleanliness - 2 major mystery stains, and brown grout stains in the shower, but the bed and others were clean.
2. Funiture- shabby, clean and in working order. As expected for the price and age of the property.
3. Bed- comfortable
4. Fridge, microwave, cable TV present and the internet was...

Typical 60's era tourist court. But it was semi-updated. The carpet and bedding were clean and new. The bathroom was clean but dated. The rest of the room is worn and tired, but fine for the price ($40/night). The innkeepers were nice and helpful so all in all fine for a quick night's stay on a long road trip.

Mold in the shower. Shower pan worn out. The TV magically appeared after we checked in and left. Zero amenities. They never replaced the toilet paper. Service was horrible and all the towels were stained. WIFI was hit and miss. The pool was full of leaves. I almost asked if this was also a motel rented by the hour. Very...

I booked this hotel because so many travellers recommended it. But I was a bit disapointed after living in it. The A/C was so noisy that my wife did not have a good sleep. The service was good, the pool is OK, and the cost was cheap. So the value was OK.
Years ago we stayed at the Lamplighter and enjoyed it. But it has really gone downhill. Although they are renovating, our room was pretty bad. There was mold in the soap dish. The toilet leaked and made noise every five minutes or so. The shampoo and soap were awful. Everything looked cracked and worn. The notebook describing what was available...
