We're frequent guests at Shelter Cove (at least twice a year, Spring & Fall) In the past we've stayed at other neighboring hotels but always come back to Shelter Cove. The accomadations and staff are great and the hotel is close to everything that Pismo Beach has to offer. More

Although it isn't the cheapest of places mind you pismo beach itself is pricey, this hotel is a truly magnificent getaway and ever so charming. I stayed here w my wife and kids about 1-5 months ago and truly enjoyed it. If headed to pismo stay here. Oh and btw its so close to everything. More

The setting for the Best Western Shelter Cove Is absolutely perfect. Situated on the coast with breathtaking views it is close to the central wine country. The staff was pleasant and breakfast ok. Love the Shelter Cove Lodge. I have stayed there twice and plan to again. The rooms are large and clean. Yes it is very close to the highway but noise is not an issue when you are in the room. The views are stunning!!! The breakfast is good, not fantastic, but you get a nice variety of options. More

The room was well equipped and had a balcony overlooking the sea which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the main coast highway (this is a 4/6 lane freeway) was only about 200 metres from the back of the hotel.
