When I came online to write a review I was shocked that two other people were that disappointed with their stay. I don’t know if the other reviewers have ever rented a vacation rental before-but usually homeowners do not put their prized possessions/exquisite furniture in the home because of the costly damage done by renters. The place is the biggest rip off in the world. Beds and furniture all date back to the 20's when it was a "speak easy." The owners should be embarrassed about the condition. Also, the owners stay on property in one of the smaller cottages. Very strange and there is garabage and crap all of these side cottages. The view... More

We were excited about having a large family gathering here and envisioned an upscale "mansion" given its location along Pebble Beach's 17mile drive and the price we paid. Boy, were we disappointed. We try to be very up front with our customers as to what they are renting when they rent the Canary Cottage. The photographs on our website clearly are not that of a mansion.
