We just returned from a 3 day stay at Dinah's Garden Hotel. The ambiance and gardens are make this a wonderful, calming oasis in Palo Alto. However, cleanliness and service is an issue. I used to stay in this hotel regularly in 8/10 times I got other room than I booked from Priceline. It used to be good hotel but now it's worst place to stay. Have stayed here the third time and it's gotten better every since. Make sure to get a Room in Building 6 (or any other renovated Building) and you'll have a excellent stay. Great mattress, shower, large room and nice staff.

Dont be fooled by its innocuous appearance from El Camino Real, the hotel is a really nice place. Rooms are large and thoughtfully furnished. I stayed there for 3 nights after having stayed on almost every other hotel in and around Palo Alto and I really liked this place.

Fantastic place to stay in Palo Alto. Beautiful gardens, with streams and ponds full of Koi Carp running through the grounds - my daughter loved it.
